Further more,   all  the  members  of the Prefect Association  of  this  college  in keeping  with  the  noble  aspirations  of its  founders,  while  maintaining  its  historical  traditions  and  heritage are engaged  in a  relentless  pursuit  of  excellency  in all  their  endeavours.   

Annual  Projects launched  by  the  Prefects Association  have  revealed  the  creative talents  of its members on  a  wide  range of  Performing Arts . 

( i)   In  year  2004  , a  Compact Disc  (CD)  was  produced  having  the  Songs  written  by  the

       Pupils    of  Holy Cross College, Kalutara.  

( ii )   In  2005,       Samasra   Variety Entertainment   was  held   providing  an  opportunity  to  bring 

         out  the  skills  of  the  students  on  playing  Musical Instruments , Dancing  and  Singing skills

         of   the  Fine  Arts  Sections  of  Holy Cross College.  

(iii )   In 2006,  an  Educational  Exhibition  known as   Rhythm   of  the  Horizon   was  held

          for  the  exposure  of  the  creative  Technological  Skills  of  the pupils.  

( iv. )   In 2007,  An   Educational Exhibition called  Revolution  was  held   with   the participation of 

              the  numerous Institutions  of  Sri Lanka  .  Experiments  were also carried  out  on a

             Provincial Television  Channel  called  RTV  .  

Backed  by  the  experience  gathered  during  these  projects,  the  members  of   the  Prefects  Association   has  turned  towards  Cinematography  by   producing their   maiden  Cinema  titled 

“  Sunerawara  ”   

Prefects Association of Holy Cross  College  , Kalutara   is    trying  to  forge  ahead  while

experimenting on new  fields and  engaged  in innovative  projects  and  serving  the  community.

During  the  process  of  these  projects  ample  opportunities  are made  available  for  its  members  to develop and   practise   leadership qualities.
